Thabaphaswa has two very good friends, Isao & Tomoko, who lives in Johannesburg. They often visit us to hike and trail run. They made this nice video that shows the farm and points of interest from the air.

“Like most nature photographers and hikers alike I much enjoy being out early in the morning when the sun just starts to show itself. Not just because it is much cooler but especially because of the quality of the early morning light.During the first 2 hours of the day it allows you to capture nature at it’s best and Thabaphaswa is no different. I was especially interested to capture the trees that have a variety of colors now. Backlit by the sun they show of their beautiful luminescent colors. These show up especially striking with the contrast of the dry winter grass in the fields.”
