Bookings

Before booking your stay, please note the following:

  • There is no electricity at Thabaphaswa.

  • All units require own camping gear and are self-catering.

  • Thabaphaswa is no longer pet-friendly.

By paying a 50% deposit to secure your booking, you agree to our terms, conditions, and indemnity.

How To Secure Your Booking

HOW TO SECURE YOUR BOOKING

  1. Complete the Guest Information Form – Be sure to tick all the activities you will be doing during your stay, as some activities are hosted by external service providers and are subject to availability.

  2. Send the completed form to: reservations@thabaphaswa.co.za

  3. Availability will be confirmed via email or mobile number.

  4. Use the reference TMS + Initial + Surname when making payment.

    • ❗ The deposit is non-refundable.

  5. Full payment is due:

    • 3 days before arrival for smaller groups (≤10 guests)

    • 2 weeks before arrival for larger groups (≥20 guests)

  6. A holding deposit of one day’s stay is required for breakages and/or damages.

    • This will be refunded within one week of departure if no damages occur.

  7. Send proof of payment and signed indemnity forms to: reservations@thabaphaswa.co.za.

    • Groups must sign the Group Indemnity Form at the gate.

  8. Once en route, please send your Estimated Time of Arrival (ETA) to: +27 82 301 9358

    • This allows the team to meet you at the gate and open for you upon arrival.

  9. Kindly book with external service providers where necessary.

    • The Thabaphaswa team will provide contact details for approved providers (e.g., for rock climbing).

  10. Discounts may be given at the owner’s discretion.

  11. You are required to pay for all guests checking in as well as for extra vehicles.

  12. Right of Admission is Reserved.

  13. Guests must ensure that all fires are extinguished and all litter is removed from used areas before departure.

    • Your cooperation in maintaining a clean and safe environment is appreciated.

Cancellations
  1. The 50% deposit is non-refundable, regardless of cancellation reason or no-show.

  2. Changing booking dates:

    • In case of emergency, dates may be rescheduled depending on availability.

  3. Early departures are non-refundable.
